AI Learning Academy

1) Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AI Learning Academy website, platform, courses, and related features (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Certain Services may be subject to additional terms presented at the point of use (“Supplemental Terms”). Supplemental Terms are incorporated by reference and prevail over these Terms in case of conflict.

2) Eligibility & Parental Consent

2.1 Children & Parents/Guardians. The Services are designed for learners aged 7–13. Children may only use the Services with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian (“Parent”). We may require Parent verification as a condition of access.

2.2 Authority. If you register or use the Services on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the Parent and have legal authority to provide required consents and make decisions regarding the minor’s use of the Services.

2.3 Entities. If you register on behalf of an organization (e.g., a school), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3) Accounts & Security

3.1 Registration. To use certain features, you may need an account (“Account”). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated.

3.2 Credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your Account and for keeping credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or suspected breach.

3.3 Account Management. We may, in our discretion, refuse, suspend, or terminate Accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4) Privacy & Data Protection

4.1 Privacy Policy. Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Minimal Data; Child Safety. We practice data minimization and do not sell or use children’s data for targeted advertising or profiling.

4.3 Parental Rights. Parents may request access, correction, or deletion of a child’s personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

4.4 Service Providers. To operate the Services, we use trusted third-party providers, including but not limited to:

  • Etisalat (e&): for domain and hosting services,

  • Google (Workspace): for email and communication services,

  • Podia: for course delivery and online learning management.

These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms, which you should review separately. AI Learning Academy is not responsible for their independent practices.

5) Educational Nature; Certificates (Not Accredited)

5.1 Educational Purpose Only. The Services are for education and awareness.

5.2 Certificates. We may issue certificates of completion (not accredited). Such certificates are not formal qualifications and are not recognized by any governmental or accrediting authority.

5.3 No Professional or Academic Advice. Content is informational/educational and not a substitute for professional, academic, or clinical advice.

6) External Tools & Links (Optional, Not Required)

6.1 Third-Party Tools. As part of learning, we may provide links or guidance to external, third-party tools or resources (e.g., publicly available AI applications). Use of external tools is optional and not required to complete our courses.

6.2 No Control or Endorsement. We do not operate or control third-party tools and are not responsible for their content, safety, availability, or data practices. Use is subject to those third parties’ terms and privacy policies.

6.3 Parental Supervision. Parents are encouraged to supervise children’s use of any external tool or site.

7) Content; License; Acceptable Use

7.1 Definitions.Content” includes text, images, audio, video, software, interactive features, and other material available via the Services. “User Content” is Content you or your child submit, upload, post, or otherwise provide.

7.2 Your Responsibility. You are responsible for your User Content and for obtaining any necessary permissions. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, harmful, or inappropriate Content.

7.3 Usage License (to You). Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services and view Content for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

7.4 Usage License (to Us). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and adapt your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services (e.g., to deliver lessons, generate a certificate, or provide support).

7.5 Prohibited Conduct. You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or rights (IP, privacy, publicity);

  • Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Services;

  • Engage in harassment, hate speech, or exploitation of children;

  • Attempt to circumvent access controls;

  • Scrape or mine data except as permitted by law;

  • Impersonate others;

  • Post sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material.

We may remove or disable access to Content that, in our discretion, breaches these Terms.

8) Academic Integrity & AI Usage

8.1 Honesty. Learners should submit their own work, with appropriate supervision by Parents.

8.2 AI Tools. Where AI tools are used, disclosure may be required by course instructions. We provide guidance to foster responsible AI use.

9) Availability & Modifications

9.1 Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or failures may occur.

9.2 Changes. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Services. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by posting an update and/or notifying Account holders.

10) Fees & Payments

Currently, the Services are offered without the sale of goods. If in the future certain features, workshops, or additional courses require payment (“Paid Services”), clear pricing, billing terms, and parental consent will be provided at the time of purchase.

11) Intellectual Property

11.1 Ours. The Services and all Content we provide (including logos, trademarks, curricula, and software) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law.

11.2 Yours. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the limited license in Section 7.4.

11.3 Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or obligation.

12) Warranties & Disclaimers

12.1 AS IS. THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12.2 No Guarantee. We do not warrant that the Services will be secure, available at any particular time, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that outcomes will meet your expectations.

12.3 User Responsibility for Use of Materials.

By accessing or using the Services, you and, where applicable, the Parent/guardian of the child user acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are fully aware of and responsible for how any materials, lessons, resources, or guidance obtained through the Services are used afterward.

  • AI Learning Academy does not monitor, control, or take responsibility for any application of the knowledge, materials, or third-party tools outside the scope of the Services.

  • AI Learning Academy shall not be involved in, nor held legally liable for, any direct or indirect consequences, misuse, or wrongful application of materials or tools provided or referenced through the Services.

13) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED USD 500 (OR EQUIVALENT).

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your or your child’s use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of law or third-party rights.

15) Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services (or specific features) at any time if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, a risk to users (especially children), or a legal requirement to do so. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, but Sections intended to survive (e.g., 5, 6, 11–14, 16–17) shall continue.

16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the Dubai Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.

17) Miscellaneous

17.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms (plus the Privacy Policy and any applicable Supplemental Terms) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.

17.2 Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.

17.3 No Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

17.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

17.5 Notices. We may provide notices via the Services, email, or to your Account. You may send notices to: info@ailearning.ae.

17.6 Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
